 measure the pitman arm end centerlink stud at the end of the taper 
 nearest the threads. Saginaw measures .587", TRW measures .556".
*Note 16. 1961 Buick Full Size with Power Steering; Please state if 
 Saginaw type or TRW type steering linkage.  Saginaw type outer tie rod ends 
 have right hand threads where they fit into the adjusting sleeve. 
 TRW type outers have left hand threads. If Saginaw type, inner tie rod ends 
 are not available. TRW type can be used if TRW inner and outers are installed.
